"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the
man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5. "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." John 1:18. These verses highlight the mediatorial position which Jesus holds, revealing God to man, and representing man before God. The Bible declares that Jesus is the only being which holds that position. The continual nature of that mediation, as expressed in the Hebrew word tamid, is brought out in Hebrews 7:25, "seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."
