The Church Symbolized by a Woman

"Paul, . . . unto the church of God which is at Corinth." "I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ." 2 Corinthians 1:1; 11:2.

"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church." Ephesians 5:23.
